The annual Wallingford Rowing Regatta is one of the major rowing events in the UK. This year it is taking place on Sunday 6 May. It attracts thousands of competitors and their supporters from all over and is held at Dorney Lake, the site of rowing at the 2012 Olympics. It is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to raise their profile with such an audience.
There are many sponsorship and advertising opportunities. The programme on the day is an essential item, containing a timetable of all races, the draw, a course map and notes from the Wallingford Regatta Committee. Programme advertising starts from as little as £80. Full details of the 2012 options are available here. Final booking deadline is Friday 15th April and as you might imagine there is limited spaces so it is done on a first come first serve basis.
To advertise in this year's regatta programme, this website or didwewin.info or to discuss broader sponsorship and support please contact

One of the features of the regatta is the shopping promenade, which is situated on the waterfront and by the main building. If you are interested in setting up a trade stand at this year's regatta contact Michael Bull by email.
Unfortunately due to ongoing preparation works for the London Olympic Games, the area usually reserved for schools and clubs to pitch gazebos near to the main marquee and finish line will not be available for the 2012 regatta. Some course-side space near to the main car park will be roped off for use by schools and clubs, however this will not be allocated and will operate on a first-come first served basis. There will be no charge for the use of this space, due to the disruption caused.
In the event of the regatta being cancelled no refund can be given for these services.
